The journey begins

So, our cases are packed and we are killing the last hour watching Nicholas Cage before heading off to try and sleep for a few hours. The film is sending me to sleep as it’s so old, and not my thing at all !!!!

Quite why its necessary to arrange flights at the crack of dawn I do not know.

Its pissing down with rain so I am not looking forward to the drive at 3.30am. I am however consoled by the fact that Italy looks dry and sunny with a good chance of wine!!!
