What on earth were we thinking?

Next thing you know you are jetting off on the trip of a lifetime.

A year ago we started planning, now with only two days to go it’s hard to believe that we are going to be away for seven and a half months. How amazing is that!!

Visas have been sorted, tickets and accommodation booked. Cars and ferries have been found, flights have been arranged. I have enough medication, first aid supplies and insect repellent to open my own pharmacy. I would like to say that my case is packed and ready but anyone who is familiar with my pre-holiday routine will know that it is still empty and will remain that way until the very last minute. If I start packing now I will have forgotten what’s in the case by Saturday and will have to take everything out again......and try it all again.........and change my mind...........again!!! And I’m stressed enough as it is without all that stuff to worry about.
